For an October Tokyo trip, the original suggested combining the Skytree observation deck with autumn programs. DISCOVER AUTUMN at TOKYO SKYTREE was announced for September 10–October 31, 2026, with autumn decorations, bamboo lights, café items, and October photo services, character greetings, jazz, and special lighting.

Most programs were enjoyed after observation-deck admission, not through a separate event ticket. Distinguish free programs from paid photos/café items, and account for weather-dependent moon-viewing cancellation.
The moon-viewing and jazz had no separate charge but required Tembo Deck admission. Official online adult prices started at JPY 1,800 for the deck or JPY 3,000 for deck plus Tembo Galleria, varying by date. Fourth-floor on-site ticketing added JPY 500 per ticket.
Main October programs
At Tembo Deck Floor 350, photos incorporated ghost graphics. One cost JPY 1,800, with an ordinary photo available instead if preferred.
Six daily sessions on Floor 350 were announced. October 28 had different times/counts, so check the actual date’s schedule.
Live performance on Floor 350 from 7–8 p.m., no separate fee but requiring observation admission.
Telescope viewing from 6:15–8 p.m., without an extra viewing fee but potentially canceled for rain, strong wind, or other weather.
Moon Night Halloween and Smile Pumpkin designs alternated about every two minutes 30 seconds from 5:45 p.m. to midnight.
Autumn deck features throughout the program
Autumn colors around the elevators/central area, plus a bamboo-light photo zone.
A seated spot framed Tokyo through a circle, emphasizing a Japanese autumn atmosphere.
Announced items included apple cream soda JPY 980, fruit cocktail JPY 1,200, and a sweet-potato vegan/gluten-free doughnut JPY 600.
Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean screens were available. That did not guarantee Korean-speaking on-site staff or any particular staff language.
Separate ticket and additional costs
The original cited a Korean official page and online buying but did not establish a passport-, departure-, or overseas-card-specific additional discount. Check accepted cards and the final price on the actual official booking screen.

EVERYDAY TRIP Editorial Team’s advice
These are EVERYDAY TRIP Editorial Team’s itinerary judgments from official event information, distinct from guaranteed benefits or a firsthand experience.
Decorations stand out by day, with special lighting and city views after dark. To see both on one admission, arrive before sunset and explore the photo spots first.
For the October 8, 14, 21, or 22 performances, consider Asakusa/Kappabashi by day and Oshiage in the evening. With no separate performance fee, it could extend an existing observation visit.
The October 23 session depended heavily on weather. Even if canceled, night views and the café remained alternatives; if traveling solely for the moon, check day-of official notices and cloud information first.
The on-site surcharge was JPY 500 per ticket. With a strong rain forecast, read refund/change terms too, balancing visibility and flexibility with the price difference.
