For shopping and dining in Roppongi that autumn, the original introduced two new Tokyo Midtown stores. Women’s fashion brand DÉPAREILLÉ was to open October 9, 2026, and handmade-soba restaurant Choju-ro (手打ちそば 澄十朗) October 10. These were permanent-store opening dates checked October 5, not limited-discount periods or event ending dates.

Tokyo Midtown Management announced the autumn additions October 1, useful for combining museums, shopping, and meals. Separate October 2–29 pop-ups were not included among these two permanent shops.

1. Two different dates and locations

Tokyo Midtown official announcement, checked October 5, 2026
Friday, October 9 DÉPAREILLÉ
Galleria floor 2; women’s fashion; 11 a.m.–8 p.m.
Announced as the brand’s first Roppongi-area shop
Saturday, October 10 手打ちそば 澄十朗
Garden Terrace floor 1; soba/Japanese food; 11 a.m.–11 p.m., last orders 10 p.m.
Announced as its first Kanto shop, with 44 indoor seats
September 2 JOHN LOBB’s Galleria ground-floor shop had already reopened after renovation. Do not confuse it with the two October openings.

For an October 9-only visit, DÉPAREILLÉ was planned to be open but the soba restaurant not until the next day. To combine both, plan for October 10 onward. These were announced schedules; actual operation, stock, and seats needed another check before visiting.

2. Which kind of visit fits each store?

DÉPAREILLÉ, Galleria floor 2

The women’s brand was entering Roppongi for the first time. A sample product in the announcement was a Supima-cotton ruffle blouse at JPY 39,600 including tax. Opening stock, sizes, and continued sales of that example were not guaranteed.

手打ちそば 澄十朗, Garden Terrace floor 1

The restaurant described stone-grinding Japanese-grown buckwheat and making noodles by hand daily. Example dishes were mori soba at JPY 990 and sansho soba at JPY 1,650, both including tax. Check the actual visit-date menu and price.

Midtown temporary closure planned November 21–23

The operator announced closure November 21–23, 2026 for disaster-resilience works, with most shops closing at 2 p.m. November 20 except specified cases. For those dates, move the new-shop visit and recheck facility exceptions and passage closures in the official closure notice. Consult that notice again.

3. Access from Roppongi Station

Tokyo Midtown’s address is 〒107-0052 東京都港区赤坂9-7-1 as shown. Official access guidance described Toei Oedo Line Roppongi Station’s direct Exit 8 connection, with an underground passage also from the Hibiya Line. That Hibiya passage included stairs, so the operator recommended the Oedo route for wheelchairs and strollers. Chiyoda Line Nogizaka Exit 3 was about three minutes on foot.

Facility-wide published hours were shopping 11 a.m.–8 p.m., restaurants 11 a.m.–11 p.m.; the table separately gave each new shop’s announced hours. Galleria and Garden Terrace are different areas, so save the actual destination and floor for meetings.

4. Visitor conditions that were established

This announcement concerned new stores in an ordinary commercial facility. The source did not establish special passport, departure-country, or residence requirements for overseas visitors. Nor did it establish a nationality-exclusive discount or special foreign-visitor coupon. It was not a discount announcement calling for new flights or accommodation.

Tax-free shopping and overseas cards

The opening material did not establish the stores’ individual tax-free status, South Korean-issued card approval, or payment methods. Check with each shop before budgeting tax-free prices; no other overseas issuer is assumed accepted.

Reservations, language, and queues

The soba restaurant’s 44 seats and last-order time were announced, but booking, queues, and Korean menus/staff support were unconfirmed. A Korean option on Midtown’s site did not establish either shop’s in-person language service.

  • Confirm the visit is from October 9 for DÉPAREILLÉ or October 10 for the soba restaurant.
  • Distinguish Galleria floor 2 and Garden Terrace floor 1, adding station-to-shop time.
  • Allow time before the restaurant’s 10 p.m. last orders; ask the shop about booking and waiting.
  • Recheck current prices, stock, tax-free, overseas-card, and language service after opening.
  • For November 20–23, check reduced hours and closure notices first.

EDITOR'S NOTE · EVERYDAY TRIP

EVERYDAY TRIP Editorial Team’s advice

For both shops, choose October 10 onward

To combine them, use the soba restaurant’s later date. Fitting a Roppongi day into an existing Tokyo itinerary may be a better cost decision than paying more for accommodation to match an opening day.

Place the meal around museum visits

For museums and shopping, first distinguish the Galleria fashion shop and Garden Terrace restaurant. The announced 44 seats did not establish queues or reservations. A flexible meal slot is preferable to immediately before a fixed show or train.

Prepare alternatives for the November closure

For November 20 afternoon or November 21–23, do not assume operation; check facility exceptions. If dates cannot move, identify other Roppongi dining/shopping options and recalculate travel from the accommodation.
